I worked with the Health Resources and Services Administration's Maternal and Child Health Bureau during an 8-week public health practicum focused on health equity strategic planning. My main project involved reviewing health equity frameworks from federal and state agencies and presenting a summary with recommendations to Division and Bureau leadership. I also created a monitoring system for over 150 stakeholder recommendations regarding steps to achieve infant and maternal health equity.
